I’m a Schemer

This month I started to explore SchemerGoogle’s new project for discovering fun things to do. Schemer is, essentially, a website dedicated to planning activities, goals and fun. Schemes or things to do  created by people in users’ circles are highlighted, but a global community suggests many rewarding schemes that can be taken up.

We started out as a scrappy team of Google engineers who wanted to help people do fun stuff in the real world. So we went ahead and built Schemer! We hope you like it.

I appreciate the emphasis on activity that the site promotes; it’s evidence of Google’s global focus on making its services part of a fully engaged life.

I’ve been scheming to learn to juggle, explore parks and museums in my city and create a cover for a chair.
